I’m Dr. Bhargav Naik, a dermatologist practicing in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Over the years I’ve worked with patients on pretty much every kind of skin, hair and cosmetic concern you can imagine. Some days it’s a teenager frustrated about acne that won’t quit. Other days it’s someone in their forties asking about pigmentation that’s crept up slowly, or hair fall they can’t quite explain, or scars they’ve stopped hoping would fade on their own.

I completed my MBBS and MD in Dermatology, and later did an AAAFP Fellowship in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology through the 5 Continent Congress in Europe. I’ve now been practicing dermatology and aesthetic care for about 7 years.

Here’s something I’ve come to understand over time: skin and hair issues rarely stay “just physical.” They follow people into how they feel about themselves, how confident they are walking into a room, how they show up at work or in photos. So before I jump to a treatment plan, I try to actually understand what someone is dealing with, not just the visible part of it.

My Approach to Dermatology

There’s no single treatment that works the same way for everyone. None. I’ve seen two patients walk in with what looks like an identical concern, and yet the cause, their skin type, their lifestyle and how they respond to treatment can be worlds apart.

So I take the time to look at all of that first. What’s going on with the skin or hair, what’s likely driving it, and only then, what the actual options are. I also think patients deserve to know what a treatment really involves, what to realistically expect from it, and whether it’s even the right fit for them in the first place.

And when it comes to cosmetic treatments specifically, I lean toward results that look like you, just a better version of you, rather than results that make you look like someone else entirely.

Skin Treatments I Provide

Skin concerns show up on a spectrum. Some clear up in a few weeks. Others need ongoing, patient management. My practice covers acne, acne scars, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, signs of ageing, and other recurring skin issues.

I also offer skin rejuvenation, scar reduction, chemical peels and anti-aging procedures, tailored to what a person’s skin actually needs rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Before I recommend anything, I think through the person’s skin condition alongside what they’re actually hoping to achieve. A treatment that works beautifully for one skin type can fall flat, or even backfire, on another.

Hair & Scalp Care

Hair fall has a way of wearing people down, especially when it drags on for weeks or months with no clear reason attached to it. Dandruff and scalp issues can be just as stubborn if nobody’s addressed what’s actually causing them.

I offer treatment for hair fall, dandruff, non-surgical hair restoration and hair enrichment. And again, the approach isn’t fixed. It depends entirely on what’s going on with that particular person.

When someone comes to me worried about hair loss, my first instinct is to figure out what might be contributing to it. Hair fall can stem from quite a few different causes, and getting that part right is honestly half the work of managing it well.

Laser & Aesthetic Treatments

Laser and aesthetic dermatology have come a long way, and they’re a real part of modern skin care now. But I don’t believe every person needs every treatment on the menu just because it exists.

At my clinic, I offer laser hair reduction, pigmentation removal, and a range of other skin rejuvenation and aesthetic procedures.

What matters most to me is matching the treatment to the person, their skin, their concern, their expectations. With something like laser treatment, the assessment beforehand and the aftercare afterward matter just as much as the procedure itself. Sometimes more.

Why I Share Information Through My Blog

A lot of patients do their research long before they ever book an appointment. They’re trying to figure out why their hair is falling out, what’s actually behind their pigmentation, whether acne scars can genuinely improve, or what a cosmetic procedure really involves once you get past the marketing language.

I started writing about these topics on my website because, honestly, these are the same questions I hear in my clinic over and over again.

My blogs aim to explain dermatology in a way that doesn’t require a medical degree to follow. I’m not trying to replace a consultation with an article. What I want is for someone to walk away with a useful starting point, enough understanding to know what’s happening and what to ask when they do sit down with a dermatologist.

How I Approach Medical Information

I take medical information seriously, especially anything touching on treatment, procedures or skin conditions.

Everything published on my website is built around established dermatological knowledge, meant to help readers understand different skin, hair and aesthetic concerns. Where I talk about treatment options, I try to lay out both what they can offer and what might affect how well they actually work for a given person.

I also believe cosmetic treatments deserve an honest conversation. Results differ from person to person, and no procedure should ever be sold as a guaranteed fix for everyone who walks through the door.

Keeping My Content Updated

Dermatology doesn’t stand still. New technologies, treatment methods and clinical findings keep emerging, which means older articles sometimes need a second look and an update.

I try to keep what’s on my website useful and current for anyone researching skin, hair or aesthetic concerns, rather than letting it sit unchanged for years.

A Note to My Readers

If you’ve been living with a skin or hair concern for a while, you’ve probably already searched for it online. And you’ve probably noticed how much of what comes up contradicts something else you read five minutes earlier.

Try not to diagnose yourself off of that alone.

A proper dermatological assessment can actually pin down what’s causing the problem, and whether treatment is even needed in the first place. What’s right for one person can look completely different for someone else with what seems like the same issue.

My website is here to help you make sense of common dermatology and aesthetic topics. But the decisions that actually matter for your skin should be made after sitting down with a qualified dermatologist, not after a late night of scrolling.
